The elevator is more entertaining this way. I think on my lunch break I'll watch the customers on the first floor attempting to operate it.

I've found the beginnings of a slime mold between the shrubs and the wall around the back of the building. I'll have to collect small insects to feed it. Breadcrumbs will have to do until then.

So many people, milling around. Not sure what they're doing here. I don't think they know, either. All the men and women in the fancy suits, they all want things right now, but it's hard to hear what they're asking for when they're waving their hands in my face. I think I would not be a good waitress.

There were some kids writing things in the frost on people's cars a while ago. I got one of 'em real good with the glass cleaner. I don't think he'll come back. I hope his friends don't, either.

I’ve finished putting the condiment stand back together after that blue-haired man with the strange eye makeup knocked it over. It’s still a little wobbly, but I ran out of duct tape and staples. I’m sorry, Kisuke-san, I tried, but we should probably order a new one. Unless there's a spare in the storeroom?

Oh, um, the powder from the bags of chips that got smashed seems to have stained some of the floor orange. So I used a tougher chemical to remove it, but it only bleached out some of the tiles. Maybe we could get a rug? Or I could stay late tonight to stain and bleach the whole floor so it looks like we did it on purpose? Spring semester hasn’t started yet, so I don’t have anything else to be doing tonight.

I can still use the broom I broke trying to get Mr. Bluehair out of the café. It’s easier to use with the little dustpan now.
